The Charleston Forum – 10th Year Commemoration of Mother Emanuel Tragedy

Join us for a special conversation featuring community members and public officials addressing issues from many perspectives.

The Charleston Forum is remembering the 10th anniversary of the Mother Emanuel AME tragedy by hosting an event featuring elected officials and community leaders for a powerful conversation on advancing racial justice through community-driven change. This year’s program will be held at Charleston Music Hall on June 10, 2025 at 7 p.m.

• Marcus McDonald – Lead Organizer, Black Lives Matter Charleston

The Charleston Forum, which has hosted annual events since 2017, strives to provide the community with ways to move forward together on otherwise divisive issues involving race. This year’s event will include three panel discussions, all moderated by WCBD News 2 Journalist Carolyn Murray.
